Reception has the day's tide times. At low tide the sand opens up and the water is easy. At high tide the beach shrinks and the shorebreak picks up.

Taking surfing out of the room rate is normal at this end of the market. Nihi Sumba includes three meals a day and charges for surfing separately. We do the same, and we would rather tell you the price than bury it.
